The 60s 60 Years
Hippie
The sixties were a period of great revolution of customs in throughout the Western world.
Young once, began to decline and induced pre-existing models and tried to express themselves through the "new mode".
born in these years, the style and that hippie movement with regard to fashion, without venturing into political camps or cultural, saw an opposition to the bourgeois style
and consisted of essentiality : jeans, natural cotton tunics, skirts and pants low rise (hipsters), sandals, no makeup and long hair. Essential accessories were pendants depicting the symbol of peace, flowers and everything that could postpone the nature and freedom.
This style has been revived and modified over the years and in my opinion, will never fade.

was chosen by Mary Quant to launch a miniskirt.

As we have seen, within one decade styles were varied and different from each other, but the amazing thing to me, is that each style, was accompanied by a very specific mentality and psychology.
